HOW IT WORKS

How a Worlds mission actually works

What happens when you speak, how progression is calculated, and what the game does and does not do.

What happens in a mission

  1. 1.You're placed in a specific situation with a specific character.
  2. 2.You speak out loud — there is no menu of pre-written answers.
  3. 3.The character responds in real time, shaped by what you actually said.
  4. 4.The conversation continues until it reaches a natural close, or up to about ten minutes.
  5. 5.Your attempt is analyzed against what actually happened in the conversation.
  6. 6.You receive a report: outcome, relationship effect, a strength, a lever, and evidence from your own words.
  7. 7.Story, mastery and memory update according to what you demonstrated.
  8. 8.You can move on, or replay to try a different approach.

How progression works

Three systems track different things, and none of them is a single combined score.

Story

Opens the next situation once you've handled the current one sufficiently well. Perfection is not required.

Mastery

Your best-ever performance on a mission — XP, insignia, and demonstrated techniques. Replays can only add to this, never subtract.

Memory

What a character remembers about your most recent interaction with them, whether or not it was your best.

A worked example: Mara's mission

Mara needs to charge more for a short-notice order. In one attempt, a player pushes back immediately and the conversation gets tense — Mara agrees to the original price, but the relationship cools. In another, the player asks why before reacting, learns Mara had to source extra flour and stay late, and reaches an agreement she's genuinely comfortable with. Both attempts can finish the mission. Only one leaves Mara trusting you more.

What you develop

  • Understand before reacting
  • Hold a clear boundary
  • Name impact without attacking identity
  • Stay present when there is nothing to fix
  • Make direct requests
  • Repair a conversation

How feedback works

  • Every point in your report is grounded in something you actually said, quoted back to you.
  • Intention and impact are kept separate — what you meant and what landed are not the same thing.
  • Outcome, relationship and craft are scored separately rather than blended into one number.
  • You get feedback on the conversation, not a personality label.
  • When the system isn't confident in its read of an attempt, it does not silently hand out irreversible rewards.

How replay works

Replaying a mission lets you try a different approach. Your best-ever result is kept regardless of what happens on a replay. Only improvement over that best result earns new XP or insignia. Whatever happens most recently is what the character remembers going forward.

Memory and control

Voice2Evolve does not currently offer a way to inspect or remove individual stored memories. If you want a clean start, you can request a full reset of your Worlds progress, which clears character relationships and story state. We explain what a reset removes before it happens.

Frequently asked questions

Getting started

What is Voice2Evolve Worlds?

Worlds is a story-driven place to practise real conversations aloud with AI-generated characters before those skills matter elsewhere.

Is Worlds a game, communication practice, or both?

Both. You explore a fictional city and follow stories, while each live mission gives you a real conversation to practise.

Who is Worlds for—and when is core Voice2Evolve a better fit?

Worlds is for building communication skill across recurring situations. Use core Voice2Evolve when you need to prepare one specific real negotiation in depth.

Do I need an account?

No account is needed for four live starter missions. Sign in to save progression; further live missions require Worlds membership.

What can I try before signing in?

You can play four live starter missions without an account. Sign in when you want saved progression and further live missions.

Do I need a microphone?

Yes, for live missions. You speak your own responses aloud; reading about Worlds on this site does not require a microphone.

What devices and controls can I use?

Move through the city with a keyboard, mouse, or touch controls. Live voice practice also needs a stable connection and browser microphone permission.

Playing and improving

Do I speak freely or select scripted answers?

You speak freely. There is no menu of pre-written answers for a live mission.

Are the characters real people?

No. They are AI-generated practice partners responding within fictional situations.

How long does a mission take?

A live conversation usually reaches a natural close within about ten minutes; your pace and the situation shape the moment.

Is there a wrong answer?

There is rarely one perfect script. Different choices can move a conversation forward, affect the relationship differently, or reveal a better next move.

What does the report show?

It reflects the attempt you just made: the outcome, the relationship effect, what worked, and one useful next lever grounded in the conversation.

What happens when I replay a mission?

Your best result remains yours. A replay lets you test another approach; improvement can add progress, while the character responds to your latest interaction.

Why did a route or story not open?

New moments open when you have handled the current story sufficiently well. You do not need perfection, but simply finishing is not always enough.

Can I skip a situation that feels too close to home?

Yes. Choose the situations you want to practise and step away from any that are not right for you.

Is there a leaderboard or a penalty for taking time away?

No. Worlds is not a competition, and your progress does not decay just because you take a break.

Worlds, situations, and growth

How many conversation worlds and missions are available now?

Worlds currently includes 5 conversation worlds and 92 spoken missions. This figure updates with the live catalog.

What kinds of conversations can I practise?

The city spans everyday friction, relationships, business pressure, leadership moments, and creative collaboration—each with its own people and stakes.

Will new situations and worlds be added?

Yes. Your practice will keep expanding with new situations for the conversations that matter, in familiar worlds and new places to explore.

Does progress carry across new content?

Your saved story, mastery, and relationship progress stay with your account as the city grows.

AI, safety, and boundaries

Is this therapy, counselling, or professional advice?

No. Worlds is communication practice, reflection, and entertainment—not therapy, diagnosis, crisis support, or professional advice.

Is this an assessment of me, my personality, or my employability?

No. Its feedback and progress are gameplay and practice signals, not an objective assessment or a decision about you.

Can I use Worlds to assess another person?

No. Worlds is for your own practice and must not be used to make important decisions about another person.

What should I do if a mission raises a difficult topic?

Pause or leave the mission and choose another situation. If you need urgent support, use an appropriate local emergency or professional service.

How should I treat AI feedback and scores?

Treat them as prompts for reflection and your next practice—not as factual findings or a substitute for your own judgement.

Voice, privacy, and account control

What happens when I use my microphone?

Starting a live mission sends your voice for the conversation to be understood, answered, and reflected in feedback. You see a voice notice before live audio starts.

What voice, transcript, progress, and memory data is used to run Worlds?

Worlds may process voice input, transcript or turn data, feedback, and your game progress to run missions and keep your story coherent. The full notice explains the detail.

Is my voice used for biometric identification?

No. Voice2Evolve does not use Worlds voice data to identify you biometrically or build a voice-identification profile.

Can I reset or delete my Worlds progress?

You can request a full Worlds progress reset. For privacy or deletion requests, contact us through the route described in the published privacy and AI-and-voice notices.

Where can I read the full AI-and-voice notice and privacy policy?

The full notices are available from the legal links in Voice2Evolve and before live voice use. They explain processing, your choices, and how to contact us.

Membership and support

What is included in the free opening chapter?

The free starter set includes four live missions: two with Mara, then Lena and Dario in Business Harbor. Guests play without an account; registered players keep progression.

What does a paid membership unlock?

An active paid membership gives your account access to paid Worlds features during its billing period. The exact features and any limits are shown at checkout and in your account.

Is membership unlimited?

Membership is not a promise of unlimited technical availability. What is included is shown clearly at checkout and in your account.

How do renewal, cancellation, and refunds work?

Subscription terms, renewal timing, cancellation, and any refund rights are shown at checkout and in the Worlds terms and withdrawal policy.

Why might paid access not be available where I live?

Paid access can depend on country, payment, tax, consumer-law, age, language, and service-availability requirements. Do not bypass an availability control.

What is the minimum age?

You must be at least 16 to use Worlds. Local law may require a higher age or parental consent for a paid digital-service contract.

What should I do if my microphone, sign-in, payment, or live mission is not working?

Check the relevant browser permission, connection, and account details first. If the problem remains, contact help@voice2evolve.com with the account email and a short description.
